For me, lice is love! It's contracted from hugs, snuggles, cuddles, caring and sharing!

I am a British trained nurse and midwife living in Los Angeles, California. Working with families and in the communities has always been my passion. 

 

For eight years, and on a daily basis, I have been helping families win their battle against head lice through in-home consultations, educational 'lice busting' workshops and seminars at preschools, daycare centers, schools and by volunteering my knowledge and ‘know how’ to the local and international communities.

In this time, I have made some very revealing observations about lice, many of them being the reason I designed and patented a ‘lice comb’ which removes lice AND nits, designed a louse snagging hair brush (patent-pending), and wrote an (e)BOOK! My focus has always been ‘preventing a lice infestation instead of treating a lice infestation’.

It was unfortunate to learn that many myths about lice still prevail, and so they are debunked for you in my (e)Book.  Additionally, the BIGGEST MISTAKES to a lice infestation which will affect the whole family, is also laid out for you in the book. Focusing on a single action can save an entire family from lice, because they find it at the very beginning of its life-cycle.   A little knowledge can save so many families from the stress and expense lice can cause.

If it wasn’t for ALL my moms and dads, I wouldn’t have been so inspired to do this work and create the lice prevention tools I have, with high hopes that all my creations and my help will lead everyone to confidently deal with lice and never be afraid of those ‘little nuisance bugs’ again!
