Head Checks: The Duchess Way

In my experience, when parents suspect their child has lice, they will usually perform a ‘quick check’ with their fingers, sifting through the hair, to see if they can spot lice.
The Lice Duchess does NOT recommend this!
My darlings, in the early stages of lice, you are most likely not going to be able to see them. Lice move very quickly, and hide beneath the hair. If you have never seen lice, you will probably not know what to look for.
Do not ever rely on simply checking with your fingers.
Why Combing Works:
Lice combs rake through the hair and remove any unwanted critters that may be seeking real estate on your ‘thinking cap.’
It really is that simple.
If you evict the ‘leading lady’ from the beginning, she will not have an abode to house new eggs, and you will simultaneous rid any eggs that may already be present.
Do you really want to wait until eggs or lice are easily apparent before you do anything about it?
COMB COMB COMB!
It will not only STOP the problem, but PREVENT future infestations from spreading to your child or another.
